Court Watch is a program that utilizes objective civic engagement to monitor issues relevant to victims’ rights in the Arizona court systems. The mission of the Court Watch program is twofold: 1) to acknowledge excellence in responding to victims’ issues; and 2) to educate and inform inadequate responses to victims’ issues with the goal of achieving transparency, equity and justice in court processes.
You can choose to complete Court Watch in person or telephonically, depending on the Arizona court and their procedures. You choose which court you would like to observe.
You begin your Court Watch Volunteering by completing a short training, observing court hearings for Family Law, Protective Order hearings, and Criminal cases.
