We need some individuals or small groups to support our mission by way of cleaning one Covenant House Alaska location: Mary's Place. Mary's Place is a a house located in mid-town that is home-base for our some of our leadership and data teams.
Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning the bathroom. On average, it's taken 1 person about 2 hours to complete all of these tasks. Volunteers culd clean between 6pm and 7am M-F or any time on Saturday or Sunday. We are asking for a commitment of at least once per month for a minimum of 3 months.
This is an independent activity that could be done as a family/group or individual on a very flexible schedule.

Description
Covenant House Alaska is to be the leader, through collaboration with the community, to provide compassionate, sustainable services and shelter to homeless or at-risk youth in Alaska.
Youth experiencing homelessness have rights.
The right to a home.
The right to food.
The right to guidance.
The right to an education.
The right to be free from sexual, emotional, or physical abuse.
The right to be free from exploitation.
Youth experiencing homelessness have the right to be safe, and most importantly, to be loved.
