ABOUT US:
GIRLS OF TRANSFORMATION MENTORING PROGRAM (GOT) is a 501(c)3, nonprofit and faith-based, charitable organization that serves girls between the ages of 8-18 who are exhibiting at risk behaviors that could take a negative effect on their lives. We provide group mentoring, one on one mentoring, life skills training, career readiness, financial literacy, biblical truth for teen, entrepreneurship, etiquette, power pack workshops for both the parents and youth, afterschool program, summer program, parenting program, and a 12-Week Saturday program.
RESPONSIBLITY:
GOT is seeking experience business owners volunteers for our Purpose-preneur Mentoring Program for teens. The purpose of this program is to provide entrepreneur education and opportunities to unexposed female youth 13-18 years old, living in the Miami-Dade and Broward County. Currently seeking experience volunteers in business to coach youth and to conduct workshops in the following program highlight areas:
-Business Brainstorming and/or Evaluation
-Business Plan
-Business Structure
-Registering your Business
-Customer Service
-Marketing Plan
-Building a Brand
-Permits & License
-Financing the Business
-Business Credit
-Insuring your Business
-Business Pitch
Our entrepreneurship program hours are Saturday's from 10:00am-2:00pm, starting from March 4, 2023 to May 27, 2023. Volunteers must have experience in business, be a positive role model, and able to work with youth at least 3-4 hours a month one on one. Volunteers will be asked to facilitate a workshop in-person based upon their business expertise. Volunteers will serve as a panel to judge youth on the last day of the program based upon their business pitch. THE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY IS FOR LOCAL FLORIDA RESIDENCE IN MIAMI-DADE AND BROWARD COUNTY ONLY.
CHARACTERISTICS:
We're currently seeking 10 volunteers that must have experience in business, professional appearance, honest, punctual, reliable, a passion to teach our youth entrepreneurship and leadership skills, knowledgeable, energetic, kind, positive attitude, and creative.

GOT’s mission is to transform the lives of young girls ages 8-18 by providing quality services to educate, empower, and enrich. Our vision is to transform the heart and mind of young girls to purpose driven women. Our mentoring program focus on providing the following services: one on one and group mentoring, life skills, substance and drug abuse awareness, pregnancy prevention, intensive workshop sessions, leadership training, teen & parent workshops, community engagement, parenting workshop, health & nutrition, etiquette, and career development.
