We are looking for creative and patient coaches to join our fantastic coaching team in working with our girls' step team (girls ages 12 to 18) until June, 2021.
Our teams are working virtually at this time. Coaches will need to be available on Saturdays virtually from 2pm to 3pm. We will examine the safety and comfort of returning to an indoor or outdoor practice for April. If this happens, our practices will be also held on Saturdays in the downtown section of Rahway but may happen from 11am to 1pm.
STEP TEAM EXPERIENCE either on a church, community-based, school or fraternal step team IS REQUIRED. Coaching experience is not required. Hip-Hop Dance experience is a strong plus (as we often are called upon to also dance as part of our competitive routine). Interested candidates should respond letting us know about their step team experience and any burning questions that they have. We will respond immediately. Thank you for your interest.

Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
