Help individuals receiving services for basic needs. If you have good telephone skills and are looking to give back to your local community, Catholic Charities in Lakeland is seeking front desk assistance two days a week: Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm (or 10 am - 2 pm)
Duties include answering phones, assisting potential clients with intake applications and greeting clients.

Leading Through Experience! You've gained a lifetime of experience. Now is the time to put your skills and talents to good use by volunteering through RSVP. RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through non-profit, faith-based, and governmental agencies to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of volunteers with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental accident insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
