(Spanish Speaking Required)Assisting patients with registration for COVID19 at WCC
Wilmington Community Clinic
WCC is currently rolling out the vaccine administration process for identified patients who meet key criteria and may need assistance in there efforts. We would greatly appreciate any volunteers in making this as smooth as possible for our community and patients we serve. This will often require strong Spanish speaking skills. All volunteers will be trained on processes and we're hoping for longer term commitments for the success of the program.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

The purpose of the Wilmington Community Clinic shall be to provide medical and health related services to those requesting such services and to develop methods for better serving those members of the community whose needs in the forgoing areas are not served adequately by existing facilities and to offer its encouragement and assistance to other organizations with similar purposes. No person shall be denied the services of the Wilmington Community Clinic on the basis of race, religion, sex and or national origin.
The Wilmington Community Clinic provides medical and health related services to a primarily spanish speaking population. Our community is largely underserved. Most of our participants are uninsured and low-income. Recently, we have started on a literacy campaign. Hoping to promote literacy to our patients while they wait to see the doctor. We are working with Reach out and Read an organization that helps us to provide books for our patients at their scheduled well child pediatric visits. We are also working with First 5 LA to expand and enhance our Pediatric and Prenatal services by providing Prenatal, Breastfeeding, Nutrition, and Parenting education. The need is great and our staff is small. We hope that with the help of volunteers to better meet the needs of this community.
