Help us continue to impact the communities that need our help. Sneakers and Socks are the #1 most requested item in homeless shelters. Think about how many pairs you may have laying around that can be repurposed and given to a good cause!
Volunteer by donating or organizing a sneaker drive in your area! Sole Purpose NYC cleans and sanitizes each pair of sneakers and matches them with 2 new pairs of socks!
Sole Purpose collects new and gently used men's, women's, and children's (including infant) sneakers and socks.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide sneakers and socks to the homeless in New York City. We collect new and gently used, men’s, women, and children’s sneakers and socks from high schools in New York City and donate them to the homeless. We envision a future in which every homeless person in New York City has a good pair of sneakers and socks to help them take the next step forward in their lives. Sole Purpose provides a comfortable pair of sneakers and socks to help prevent a variety of foot-related medical ailments and provide protection from the environment which results in an enhanced quality of life and improved self-confidence.

Sole Purpose is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on collecting, refurbishing, and donating new and gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s sneakers and socks to the homeless in New York City.
