3HC Home Health & Hospice
Provide support for patients - visiting, reading, writing letters, sharing music.
Respite and support for family members - allow caregivers and family members the opportunity to take care of necessary errands and get time away. Family members appreciate a visit from a compassionate friend (you) who understands what they are going through.
Provide spiritual support - assist 3HC chaplains with spiritual support for patients and families.
Provide clerical support - assist in the clinical office setting answering phones, filing, making hospice packets and contacting hospice patients each week.

The agency began in 1981 providing a skeleton of services to Wayne and upper Duplin counties.
Today, 3HC employs over 400 professionals and operates seven clinical offices, the inpatient Kitty Askins Hospice Center, and the corporate office located in Wayne County, North Carolina. 3HC also manages the inpatient Crystal Coast Hospice House.
3HC maintains active membership in the Association for Home and Hospice Care of North Carolina (AHHCNC), the National Association for Home Care (NAHC), and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO).
