One Stop Front Desk Specialist (Russian-speaking)

The Russian-speaking volunteer will manage our busy front desk by providing case assistance and information and referral for such things such as benefits and entitlements, and applications/questions on a first come, first serve basis for incoming clients who stop by or over the phone. The volunteer will also track scheduled appointments in the appointment book made by the case workers and inform them of the client’s arrival.

Volunteers will:

• Provide incoming clients with case assistance and info/referral;
• Provide case assistance/info referral by phone
• Track scheduled appointments in the appointment book
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner

Volunteers must:

• Be fluent in Russian
• Experienced in providing case assistance and information and referral to the clients
• Be computer literate
• Be responsible
• Be timely

Note: SJCC takes all precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All PPE will be made available to the volunteer. The volunteer will sit behind a Plexiglas screen when seeing clients face to face. All clients wishing to enter the office are required to complete a personal health assessment screening before being allowed in.
