Help your older neighbors stay safe at home by volunteering for DOROT's Response Team.
Response Team volunteers run errands for older New Yorkers, like mailing packages, picking up library books, dropping off laundry, and more! Response Team volunteers receive weekly emails listing the requests for assistance, ands sign up for the request(s) that work for them.
To get started and learn more, join one of DOROT’s upcoming virtual Volunteer Orientations. Sign up here: www.dorotusa.org/orientationregistration
Volunteers must be age 18+. Response Team opportunities are low contact. Errands involve handoffs outside the DOROT senior’s front door. Response Team supports older adults in Manhattan from 50th to 125th Streets on the West Side and from 14th to 96th Streets on the East Side.
