Voluntary Services (VAVS) department plays a major role in formulating and interpreting medical center needs in order to effectively and efficiently place volunteers throughout the clinic. Our goal is to provide Veterans the world-class benefits and services they have earned-and to do so by adhering to the highest standards of compassion, commitment, excellence, professionalism, integrity, accountability and stewardship.

  • Typical shifts are 4 hour shifts. 8 a.m. to noon or noon to 4 p.m. These shifts can be as many days a week as volunteer would like.
