" Enhancing the lives of older adults in the community one life at a time."
Established in 1967 the Charleston Area Senior Citizens, Inc. continues to touch the lives of healthy and at-tisk seniors with the necessary programs and services that enable them to be a vital component of the community. The organization also offers life-enhancing services for at-risk seniors who need more individualized attention. Specifically, the Home Delivered Meals program for home bound seniors living in Charleston and as far south as Edisto, serves approximately 400 hot meals on a daily basis. CASC routinely maintains a waiting list of over 100 clients. Most on the list will die before CASC can serve them.
Help for the at-risk senior and caretaker also includes case management, in-home care, outreach services, respite care, and food Give-Away and Commodity Distribution.
We'll work with your schedule.
