Harriett's Daughters is currently seeking a few men and women to join our Board of Directors and help us navigate through our growth and expansion. We are looking for board members who:
Have a strong work ethic
Are passionate and enthusiastic about sharing their skills and talents to help youth
Are connected to and/or interested in outreach to the local business community
We are seeking board members with the following occupations/skills:
Finance (nonprofit preferred)
Mental Health/ (Grief Therapists/Counselors)
Information Technology
Law
K-12 Education (Principals, School Counselors, Teachers)
Health Care (Oncologist, Palliative Care)

To support, inspire, and empower girls who have lost their mother to cancer or whose mother is dying from cancer.
Description
Harriett's Daughters strives to be the soft landing for girls who have lost their mother to cancer or whose mother is dying from cancer. Our goal is to provide consultation and family support services, mentoring programs, scholarships, and research-based programs for school-aged girls in the Greater Atlanta area. We largely focus on supporting girls through their grieving and mourning process, inspiring girls to pursue their ambitions, and empowering girls to dream and make choices that will propel them into a fulfilling future.
