The Library Garden - Planting for the Future of Wylie! Imagine a place where fresh herbs and vegetables grow to place on the tables of families in need in Wylie. A place where Monarch butterflies get energy and rest as they migrate thousands of miles other way home. Where the people can learn about our earth’s resources and the joy of spending time outside. We have that place at the Wylie Municipal Complex - the Library Garden. Unfortunately, our garden has been neglected and we need your help to get it back into shape! Ready to volunteer? Description
We are a public library that is the heart of the community of small town Wylie, Texas. We provide all kinds of services for free to people in and outside of our community. Currently we are looking for volunteers to help with our Library garden. We had to close all volunteer activities due to COVID but are in the process of slowly opening those opportunities up again.
