It's the greatest summer camp ever. Just ask the people who go here!
Attention skilled RNs, LPNs, CNAs, or Nursing Students currently enrolled in a nursing program! Are you looking for a community-based setting in which to complete your clinical hours and gain more exposure to individuals with disabilities?
SOAR365 is seeking one or more students or skilled professionals who can assist, under the supervision of Summer Camp Nursing Staff, with camper intake (including processing medical & medication paperwork), taking vital signs, conducting screenings, assisting with selected Daily Living Activities, and any other identified tasks.
2021 Summer Camps start June 14 and end August 6. Assistance is especially needed on Check-In Days (Mondays) but hours can be negotiated.
Required onboarding includes: orientation, human rights training, COVID protocols, background check, negative TB test.

In partnership with families, SOAR365 creates life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities, annually serving over 1,400 people and their families. Founded in 1954, SOAR365 is an organization created by families, for families; an organization that has grown to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities across the lifespan.
With multiple locations throughout central Virginia, SOAR365 programs span the lifecycle and assist people with disabilities to live happy, successful and meaningful lives. Programs and services include: Pediatric Therapy Services; Adult & Youth Day Services; Workforce Development Services; and Residential (Summer Camp and Respite) Services.
