Operation Showers of Appreciation is seeking a dedicated Donations Assistant to join our team and support our mission. The Donations Assistant will play a crucial role in helping us acquire the necessary supplies and funds to carry out our programs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Donor Relations: Cultivate new relationships with individuals, corporations, and community organizations to expand our donor base.

2. Donation Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all donations received, including cash, checks, and in-kind contributions.

3. Resource Procurement: Identify and source essential items needed for our programs, such as baby supplies, care package items, and event materials. Collaborate with local businesses and vendors to secure donations and have donation drives.

Qualifications:

• A strong passion for supporting military families and veterans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in fundraising or donor relations is a plus.
