About JUSTICE FOR CHILDREN
Location:
3518 Emancipation, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77004, US
Mission Statement
To raise the consciousness of our society about the failure of our governmental agencies to protect victims of child abuse, to provide legal advocacy for abused children and to develop and implement, on a collaborative basis where possible, a full range of solutions that enhance the quality of life for these children.
Description
Justice for Children is a 501(c)(3) independent non-profit organization founded in 1987. We advocate for, and intervene on behalf of children who are confirmed victims of abuse and are un-served or under-served by various protective agencies. Justice for Children is the only organization that advocates for children victimized by "system failure"; children who have fallen through the cracks of the existing child protective network of governmental agencies, including CPS, law enforcement, district attorneys' offices, and the civil and criminal courts.
