Are you searching for meaning and purpose in your life? Looking, perhaps, to pay-it-forward or, perhaps, use your skills and interests to make a real difference in someone's life?

Moments Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to spend quality time with our hospice patients and their families, doing PET THERAPY who are in homes, assisted livings or skilled nursing facilities throughout the Greater Minneapolis and St. Paul area.

Our hospice volunteers fill vital roles that range from direct contact with our patients and families.

On any given day, our hospice volunteers may be out spending time with patients and families.

Moments needs Pet Visitors in all of our territories, especially in the Appleton, Eau Claire.
Come, make a difference and be a pet visitor for Moments Hospice.

We will reimburse all volunteers who get their pet certified through Alliance of Therapy Dogs International.

Mission Statement

We aim to add value to patients and their families at the end-of-life, and assist them to create moments to remember.

Description

Hospice is about living, about giving people access to what they need so they will have the best quality of life during a difficult time. Patients who choose hospice have made the decision, along with their families and doctors, to change cure goals for comfort goals. Hospice believes that through personalized services and a caring community, patients and their loved ones can obtain the necessary preparation for death so that it can be not merely a period of sorrow, but one which gives them deeper understanding of life.
