The PurpleStride Chair recruits and works with a planning committee in collaboration with staff partner to lead the coordination and production of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's signature event. The Chair leads the planning and the execution of fundraising, sponsorship, marketing, logistics and the overall event experience as it relates to PurpleStride. The PurpleStride Chair is also a member of the New Jersey Affiliate Leadership Team and will help to drive the overall PanCAN strategy in the local New Jersey community.

This position will help you develop and strengthen your leadership skills including but not limited to time management, team building, project management, problem solving and effective communication.

PurpleStride events are the number one way PanCAN raises money to fight pancreatic cancer in a comprehensive way through scientific research, patient services, government advocacy and community engagement.
