The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager. The responsibilities of the PMO Manager include managing the general activities in the PMO, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing and mentoring project management volunteers, and collaborating with other department leaders to develop projects and programs.
To be successful as a PMO Manager, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch PMO Manager should be well organized and able to work under pressure. What you will be responsible for..
- Lead STW(tm)’s education program design strategy
- Drive the direction of the Water Education Materials team based on data and research.
- Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
- Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
- Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Providing financial reports and budget outlines to senior and executive management.
- Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the organization's standards.
- Drafting new and improving existing project management office guidelines, policies and processes.
- Spearhead the development of project and change management templates.
- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting organization standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
- Ensure that projects are executed through the Education Delivery Operating Model (DOM).
- Design and implement a change management framework.
- Ensure that projects and programs are developed in line with STW((tm))’s goals and objectives, standards of quality and style.
- Lead team communication strategy by facilitating regular team meetings, attend bi-weekly leadership team meetings and managing communications between external and internal stakeholders.
- Provide strong leadership to the PMO team by managing and supporting all job duties, targets and goals and ensure they are adequately prepared to fulfill their duties.
- Provide expert advice on project management matters and evaluate the effectiveness of STW projects/programs.
- Possess strong relationship management skills, as it relates to the PMO team and STW((tm)).
- Support the program development progress that aligns to Save the Water’s mission in educating the public about world water issues.
- Research and recommend best practices in program and project management.
- Attend regular meetings as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the team members in the Education team
- Be willing to attend virtual meetings in EST timezone (GMT -4:00) and respond to emails within 24 hours.

- Committed to attending team meetings. Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Outgoing, persistent and energetic. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to handle requests and complaints in a professional, non-confrontational manner.

Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years' experience in the industry.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to details and technicalities.
- Excellent organizational and technical skills.
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
Preferred
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an asset.
- A minimum of one year's experience in a supervisory position is an asset.
