Mission: Step Up's mission is to deliver compassionate support to individuals experiencing mental health conditions and chronic homelessness. Step Up's staff delivers frontline support to our members including street outreach, medicine, counseling, and food delivery while connecting them with housing and the keys to their own apartment. With your donation of vital supplies, Step Up essential outreach teams can continue to get more individuals off the streets and into safe housing.
Impact: You will combat food insecurity for your unhoused neighbors and assist Step Up teams as they provide housing and support. We have teams urgently in need of non-perishable food supplies to provide to members during outreach and move-in.
Contents of 1 Snack Pack (Assemble each Snack pack in 1 ziploc bag):
- Bottled Water
- Chips
- Raisins
- Granola Bar
- Cookies
- Juice Boxes
- Nuts
- Beef Jerky
- Protein Bar
- Nutrition Drink
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: Assemble & deliver individual Snack packs in gallon ziploc
baggies or back packs for staff to distribute. Volunteers must ensure that all items are UNOPENED.
