ORGANIZATION: Solid Ground

Provide a Birthday Bag for each child 17 and under at our East Metro Place facility! Volunteers receive a list of childrens' names, ages and genders, then purchase materials for and assembles a bag for each child. This is a great opportunity for individuals and groups of any size!

We ask that each bag contain at least one box of cake mix, one container of frosting, and one pack each of plates, napkins and silverware (themed if possible). Volunteers also have the option to include a toy, game, personal care item, book, gift card, etc. To keep it equitable for the kids, we ask that no more than $20 go into making each birthday bag.

Volunteers may also assemble "generic" bags, not specific to age or gender, to be distributed to future families moving in.
