Families for Depression Awareness is looking for PR/Media Relations/Marketing Plan Creation professionals who can volunteer to advance our cause. We have an event in the fall that we need help to reach more families who are struggling with depression or bipolar disorder. If you have experience in this area and can volunteer 3 hours per month, we would love to meet you!

Families for Depression Awareness helps families recognize and cope with depression and bipolar disorder to get people well and prevent suicides. We offer education, training, and support to unite families and help them heal while coping with mood disorders.

Description

Families for Depression Awareness continues to be the premier national organization specializing in practical education and action-based training for family caregivers whose loved ones are dealing with a mood disorder. Our mission is to help families recognize, address, and cope with depression and bipolar disorder to get people well and prevent suicides. Through nationwide webinars, online tools, publications, and in-person workshops in Massachusetts we provide up-to-date and relevant education, training, and support that specifically meet the needs of families. Our programs aid participants in recognizing depression in themselves and others and getting help so that no one suffers alone with untreated depression.
