Camp Korey

Camp Korey is a camp for kids with life-altering medical conditions.

We are looking for people who are specifically up for doing some more labor-intensive projects, but don't require any specific licensing/experience beyond being physically fit to complete.

This can includes things such as digging holes, weed whacking, junk and trash removal for recycle yard and dump, shovel and rake work, etc.

If interested - we would connect you to our Facilities Manager to discuss exactly what projects would fit best and then schedule date/time. At the moment - we can only have "two households" on-site volunteering, so scheduling is pertinent to make sure we are following all safety guidelines.

Masks will be required inside and when around people (i.e. Camp Korey staff member).

Mission Statement

Camp Korey's mission is to honor the courage, strength and determination of children and their families living with life-altering medical conditions by providing them with a transformational experience in a fun, safe camp environment with specialized medical support.

Camp Korey offers children and families an escape from the endless medical treatments that have overshadowed childhood. Campers grow stronger, braver, and build leadership skills that they take into their everyday lives. Our campers have reported an increase in self-esteem, confidence and resilience, along with a network of friends and support to help them through the tough times. We work with a dedicated team of medical professionals and program facilitators to create a medically safe camp adventure. Camp is always free to campers and their families, thanks to our volunteers, donors and supporters.
