The compounding effects of COVID-19, social isolation, financial uncertainty and distance learning have been tough on our kids. The added stress and anxiety makes it challenging for them to focus on schoolwork, and in many cases, their performance is suffering. We need your help to provide quality homework help and tutoring at no cost to students. Main subjects are math and language. Students work one on one and in groups with tutors in a virtual setting. We love to work with caring, upbeat and inspiring tutors who strive to see students excel! Training provided. Sessions take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 PM.
About our program:
BOOK and Destiny Academies offer free academic support, social interaction, cultural enrichment, mental wellness therapy and family support to students from historically underserved groups.
