ORGANIZATION: RESILIENCE PROJECT

Are you interested in being a part of a scholarship team that focuses on bringing light to the topic of sexual violence? Are you interested in learning how art can change communities and transform the world? If both of these answers are yes then you sound like a perfect fit for our Scholarship team! Share your kindness through outreach.


Description:

-Outreach and maintain relationships with rape crisis centers and coalitions

-Willing to assist virtually with a company contracted counselor once a month

-Willing to receive additional training and certifications

-Conduct in-house virtual training for staff and other members of the Resilience Team

Mission Statement

The Resilience Project uses art to invigorate a sense of Triumph in individuals who identify as Survivors of sexual assault. It is our sincere hope to create change in the community through our scholarship and art programs. We hope to encourage the presence of diverse services directed to the prevention of sexual assault, as well as celebrate the many ways that survivors are persistent after their trauma.

Description

  • To provide roadmaps and resources to survivors after trauma.

  • Create healing communities through art in particular mural based art

  • Use the attention this scholarship program garners to promote advancements for campus survivors in our community

  • Campaign for the institutional funding of Survivor support services in institutions of higher learning.

  • Celebrate the many ways that survivors are persistent after their trauma

  • Give special attention to the determination and help it takes to graduate after a campus sexual assault
