Technology is available to design vehicles that are powered by internal combustion engines yet which are very environmentally acceptable throughout their entire life cycle. They are high performance and economical to purchase and operate. Despite this countries and manufacturer's are moving towards electric vehicles. We need to educate government leaders and decision makers as to the merits of our alternate approach. IPRS conducts R&D in health and environmental sciences, encourages technology transfer and provides a service of listing resources for those dealing with various disabilities.
Description
Health research and advocacy is focused on mineral (magnesium) metabolism and nutrition. Research includes genomics and proteomics discovery and computer modeling. Environmental research is directed toward developing and implementing solutions for air pollution (from motor vehicles) and waste disposal/energy recovery (plastics). A novel thermal device for breaking down pollutants is being developed.
