Do You Wonder if You Could Do Hospice Work?

Have you thought about becoming a hospice volunteer but didn't know if you could do it? Have you wondered how people can volunteer with folks who are at end of life? Have you tried to imagine what volunteers do and if it would be too difficult?

You're not alone. Many people have the same thoughts and questions. One thing you can do is schedule an informational meeting with our Director of Volunteers who can best explain the program, including requirements, tasks, expectations, and training. You'll hear stories of how volunteers have helped patients and their families and have a clear picture of the on-going, strong support through supervision that volunteers get.

And then you can determine if this would be a good fit for you, if this is a challenge you would like to try. We support the decision you make because, as we say in hospice, no matter what, "it's OK."

Looking forward to hearing from you!
