Willis Dady’s prevention team receives many referrals a day. Initial calls must be made to clients to enroll them in the program. Paperwork also needs to be filed in a neat and confidential manner.
Key responsibilities include calling clients on the phone, filling out paperwork, and filing paperwork.
Prevention volunteers should have basic computer knowledge, comfortability speaking on the phone, great communication skills, possess empathy, patience, and assertiveness, and desire to serve the community.

Our goal is to help as many struggling people as possible to avoid needing shelter altogether, and for those who do enter shelter to help move them into permanent housing as quickly as possible.
