A team lead is needed to assist our amazing volunteer blood delivery drivers. The Blood Delivery Team is critical to ensuring life-saving blood donations are transported from the Red Cross distribution site on Everett Road to area hospitals and beyond. As the team lead, you will assist the team with scheduling, training and ensuring they feel supported and have a good experience. This can be done completely virtually from home using a phone, computer and internet!
-Call new team members to provide a warm welcome, setup training and answer questions
-Assist drivers with scheduling upcoming shifts in our online database
-Regularly thank drivers for their hard work and provide recognition
-Work as part of a team!
This role requires strong customer service skills, comfortability making phone calls and using computer, and typically will require 8-10 hours a month. Supervisor will provide needed training and support!
