During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
We are seeking a volunteer to research, develop and obtain sources of food, drink and snacks for the youth who work in the Mint Creative Summer Jobs program and possibly for others who join us regularly through the summer. Many of the youth come from low income or disadvantaged families and we wish to offer them a meal once or twice a week and /or healthy snacks every day.
We also hope to offer snacks to children who come to our free youth-led arts and crafts in Palmer Park and possibly a second Detroit park this year too.
These may be sourced from business donations, from USDA food programs, from other nonprofit food programs or other sources. Ideally we want them delivered to our studio in Palmer Park, Detroit.

Mint Artists Guild grows Detroit area teens into artists and leaders who thrive as creative entrepreneurs and engaged, generous citizens. As we teach creative young people tools of success and engage and pay them for creative projects and services, Mint opens doors to economic empowerment, social change and creative and life changing opportunities.
Mint works with artists ages 13 to 19 on entrepreneurial, career and life skills, and gives them opportunities to sell their creative work. A summer jobs program, business workshops and online educational and informational resources are offered to young visual artists.
This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
