Shreveport Green is currently looking for volunteers to help with the development of the MLK Community Garden. Our organization has been awarded a parish grant to establish the area as a viable community resource. With one-third of Shreveport's citizens not having access to healthy food, the MLK Community Garden looks to provide fresh foods to its neighboring resident through educational and hands on methods. If you or someone you may know would like to volunteer on this amazing project please leave a contact email or phone number. Volunteering will be each and every Thursday from 9:30am-12-30 unless rain is in the forecast. We look forward to you joining us in the garden.
