Have you decided on your New Year’s Resolutions yet?
Consider making your New Year’s resolution this year to help others. Volunteer with the American Red Cross to support your neighbors in need. Help save lives and ensure no one faces life’s emergencies alone. Currently, our biggest need is for the following volunteers:
Disaster Action Team
Every eight minutes, the Red Cross responds to a disaster in the U.S., and most of these are local home fires. When a home fire leaves a family stranded on the street, local Red Cross volunteers provide emergency financial assistance, emotional support and recovery help to guide them through for their next steps. During COVID-19, volunteers often deliver this support virtually by working with the local fire department to connect with affected residents by phone or video call.
Act now and Resolve to Volunteer!
*Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
Safety Message: We care about your health and well-being, and if you are interested in volunteering for any in-person essential services, please review the CDC guidance for people who are at higher risk for severe illness, consult your health care provider and follow local guidance.
