DIRECT SUPERVISOR: TAMMY HUBBARD, COMMUNITY SERVICE UNIT LEADER

NOTE: (Lifting may be involved for this job)

MAINTAIN AND MANAGE FOOD PANTRY

  • Coordinate on site food deliveries with Operations Manager
  • Maintain accurate inventory so that food pantry is always kept full
  • Learn about ordering processes
  • Train with local food bank on procedures
  • Communicate with Social workers
  • Rotate stock as needed
  • Pack and date food boxes
  • Assist with distribution (drive thru method at this time)

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Current food pantry distribution hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am – noon, and then take a lunch break and resume distribution from 1-3:30 pm. However, this position would also require other hours as needed to manage pantry stock and duties.
