We need someone to help build & drive content and manage all our TikTok and YouTube accounts. We need help with these two platforms because our clientele is teens and young adults. We have a showing on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram that some content can be pulled from. Tiktok and YouTube impressions will be used to drive users to our website and possibly convert into increasing the number of students in the program.
Julia’s Learning Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps teens and young adults reach their desired level of education and financial knowledge through mentorship, educational workshops, and scholarships. All services have been moved to online platforms due to CDC social distancing guidelines.
Duties:
Manage Julia’s Learning’s TikTok and YouTube channels
Create/edit/refine video content for consumption on the platforms. This could include vlogs, short videos, interviews, and various content pieces to raise awareness. This should be fun and relatable to young people. (Doodly and Canva accounts are available for you to use, if helpful)
Drive user growth, engagement, and churn to increase involvement.
Provide reporting/analytics on an agreed basis
A background check is required for this role.
Requirements:
A passion for what we do as a nonprofit organization
A strong understanding of TikTok and YouTube
Editing abilities
Ability to take bland content into something engaging
Access to video equipment and editing (This does not have to be high-tech. A good camera phone will work for some content.)
Time commitment:
Flexible - but at least 3 hours a week.

Description
JLF provides students with an understanding and awareness of higher math and science, preparation for SAT and college entrance exams, financial aid assistance, life skills and career preparation. Through mentoring, advocacy, workshops, and financial assistance, Julia's Learning Foundation (JLF) empowers students ages 16 to 24 with the tools necessary to attain a college education.
