Who we are

Pro Musica Colorado is a professional chamber orchestra, made up of the finest musicians in the Rocky Mountain region, performing diverse works that evoke the transcendence of the human experience.

What we stand for

Our work of beauty-making in our community is centered on racial justice and social equity. Our concert seasons lift up composers of color, women’s excellence, and queer musical voices from all cultures and eras.

Meet the moment

When you join our Board of Directors, you’re committing to more than an arts organization. You’re joining our movement to establish equity in race, gender, creed, and orientation from the orchestral stage.

Vision in Action

In its past two concert seasons, Pro Musica Colorado: - performed compositions by composers of color, including a concert of "Diverse Voices" - dedicated a concert to the issue of climate change - pivoted from live performances to live-streamed concerts during the COVID19 pandemic Looking ahead, Pro Musica Colorado’s goals include: - engaging and celebrating our LGBTQ+ community with collaborative performances and Pride events - seeking racial equity and representation at all levels of the organization
