Since the start of the pandemic, Hope Communities has been providing fresh fruit, vegetables and other staple items. Volunteers will help repackage and distribute food out to our residents. Food distributions are every other Wednesdays from 9:45 to 11:30 am at Hidden Brook Apartments. Please note -- this event is outdoors! If you would like to sign up for a shift, please click here: https://signup.com/go/tdqiPuO.
Not all shifts are listed. If slots are full, please check back periodically.
Hope Communities' mission is to create diverse, healthy communities through quality, service-enriched, affordable housing.
Hope Communities was founded in 1980 by a group of citizens concerned about the lack of decent, affordable housing in Denver. Beginning in the historic Five Points neighborhood, Hope Communities operated a single building of rental units that Denver families and individuals could afford; almost thiry years later, the organization's geographic focus has expanded to include the entire Metro Denver area, at a time where affordable housing has only become more critical.
In addition to rental housing, Hope Communities also offers an array of programs and services designed to empower residents and build community. These include adult education, youth education, health and wellness programs, case management, and events to engage the entire community.
