If you enjoy sorting and organizing, then we could really use your help! The Ministry Outreach Center is our central warehouse storing food, clothing, furniture and other needed items for people in need. Duties may include receiving donations and then sorting, stocking, and organizing the donated food items in our warehouse. You will also be participating in fulfilling food orders for the Food Services team. Some lifting and moving of boxes is required. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. A long term volunteer is needed two to four hours once a week during business hours for a minimum of 3 months.

Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive self-sufficient citizens.
Founded in 1892, Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the poor and needy in the Rocky Mountain region.
Lawrence Street Shelter is our most recognizable location because of the neon "Jesus Saves" sign on the corner of the building. Services at this location include shelter (up to 315 men nightly), medical services and relational and emotional support for those experiencing homelessness.
The Crossing provides a long-term New Life Program location for men; the STAR Transitional Program for homeless families and single men and women with children; and temporary housing for New Life Program graduates, interns and visitors.
We'll work with your schedule.
