Capstone Hospice has an active and engaged volunteer team, visiting patients in locations such as Atlanta, Cobb, Cherokee, Forsyth, and Gwinnett Counties. We can schedule your patient visits near where YOU live, and based on YOUR schedule. Our volunteers range in age from 16-80! We look for volunteers to commit to a minimum of one hour/one visit per week. We are accepting applications now and have an orientation class scheduled for April 22. For patients and families struggling with a serious illness, Capstone Hospice is committed to serving these individuals with fully trained, loyal and friendly caregivers. Our staff-i.e., our people-make all the difference when it comes to providing the highest quality services in the region. We realize our people are our most valuable asset and we go to great lengths to ensure we hire and retain only the most compassionate and skilled caregivers. Our office is in Peachtree Corners; our service area covers a 50 mile radius of our office including locations such as Woodstock, Canton, Buford, Lawrenceville, Atlanta, and more.

- Background Check
- Must be at least 16
- Orientation or Training
- Minimum one hour/one visit per week; visits can be near volunteer's home. Volunteers visit patients in Assisted Living Facilities and/or private homes. We ask for a 6-month commitment after orientation.
- Volunteers will be required to have a TB test, background check, and proof of completed Covid vaccination. Orientation is a 4-hour in person class and 8-12 hours of online training (self-paced). TB test and background check provided by Capstone.
