Neighborly needs your help transporting seniors to and from medical appointments in Pinellas County. Neighborly has safety protocols to keep volunteers, and clients, safe. Volunteers do not transport individuals in wheelchairs or lift clients. Choose your region of the county and the times most convenient for you weekdays between 9am and 4pm.
Volunteer Duties:
- Deliver clients to and from medical appointments and pharmacies (up to ten miles from the client’s home, one way)
- Use your own vehicle
- Apply online, attend orientation, go through background screenings, drug test, brief driver training, and vehicle inspection
- Auto insurance coverage must be at least $100,000/$300,000
- Ability to access email on your smartphone
- Vehicle's model year must be no older than 15 years, and vehicle must seat four or more passengers, including the driver
