Quick Overview: The Niles Foundation is looking for a few virtual volunteers to help us further our mission of sustainability, women, education, and youth. No experience is necessary but very helpful. We train our volunteers.

Mission: The Niles Foundation Los Angeles is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was founded to promote and increase equity and equality by organizing local community, supporting sustainable projects, and empowering our citizens who are low-income, underserved, underrepresented, and at-risk. We are dedicated to the development, and growth of our local communities, through free education programs, sustainable projects, and hands-on community actions.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: We are looking for volunteers that can support in the following areas:

Community awareness

Graphic design

Program support

Creative support

Coordinating

Planning

Collaborating

Some on-site project visits.

If you have formal or informal experience, please let us know as it will help us team you up. But not to worry if you don't have experience, we provide training for volunteers!

Requirements: We are looking for volunteers that can spare a few hours a week or bi-weekly. All volunteers must sign a confidentiality agreement, volunteer waiver form and may undergo a background check. Volunteers will be required to meet virtually through zoom, google conference, or facetime once a week. You can choose whichever platform works best for you.
