We are looking for an enthusiastic fitness coach/instructor with a passion for working with young children to facilitate virtual classes. The Fitness Instructor will facilitate our teen fitness class for the winter semester starting immediately.
Lead Virtual Fitness sessions for a group of students every week.
Demonstrate and explain how to perform various exercises and routines to improve fitness.
Observe students during sessions to ensure they are following the right posture and techniques.
Monitor progress of the students and adapt exercise as needed
Provide information on resources about nutrition, weight control and lifestyle issues to our teens
Send session notes to the supervisor on a regular basis.
Prior experience as Fitness Coach/Instructor
Patience to work with young children and teens preferred
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
A degree or certification related to the field is a plus but not required
Must be 18+ years old
Hours of work and duration of commitment: Must be available 5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) between the hours of 2pm and 6pm EST. Minimum 3 month commitment from February through April 2021
