Elder Wisdom Circle

The Elder Wisdom Circle is an award winning online inter-generational program pairing younger folks in need of advice with a caring and empathetic cyber-grandparent.

To date the EWC has facilitated almost 500,000 one on one interactions and been featured in almost 100 media stories. Our site received about 350,000 annual visits, most are reading advice.

The EWC has played a critical role during the pandemic giving our seniors a safe way to volunteer from home and a place for younger folks to find comforting advice during this crisis.

In March we will be launching a new feature which we anticipate will be popular with our advice-seekers in their teens, 20's and 30's.

We are seeking an experienced social media manager who can help us create a campaign for this new feature and help us launch with a series of initial posts.

If you have the talent and experience we would warmly welcome the opportunity to learn more about you. Please reply to this post with your relevant experience and any examples of your work you might have.

Thank you for your interest in our opportunity.

Mission Statement

Elder Wisdom Circle pairs online advice seekers in their teens, 20's and 30's with a nationwide network of Cyber-Grandparents, aged 60 to 105, who share their know-how and accumulated wisdom.

We are a web-based nonprofit service organization that pairs online advice seekers in their teens, 20's and 30's with a nationwide network of Cyber-Grandparents, aged 60 to 105, who share their hard-earned knowledge and wisdom. Our Elder members participate individually from their home computers or in groups at retirement communities (with the help of a facilitator). Anyone with access to the Internet can request anonymous advice on any topic and will receive a personalized e-mail response in return. The voice of experience is hip, sincere, and highly sought after by people of all ages; we are the most popular source of free online advice in the country. The Elder Wisdom Circle has been featured on ABC, CBS, BBC, NPR and in many publications including USA Today and Time.
