Black Connect’s Operations Manager plans, directs and coordinates the operations of the organization, ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

Liaison with President and Executive Director. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans. Create initiatives that further the company's overall goals

Help promote an organizational culture that encourages top performance and high morale through positive encouragement and incentives.

Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.

Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of the leadership team. Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and collaborative efforts.

Plan the use of volunteers and other human resources. Organize recruitment and placement of volunteers and interns. Establish organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities.

Plan and support sales and marketing activities.

Find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

Identify potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue.

Identify opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market.
