The Legal Counsel to the Board of Directors should have a general knowledge of corporate law, including Indiana’s nonprofit corporation statute. Counsel should have experience with Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and corporate minutes; and advising Boards of Directors on general corporate matters. A knowledge of Robert’s Rules of Order is helpful as well.
The mission of Meals on Wheels of Hendricks County, Inc. is to help alleviate hunger and allow residents to stay in their homes. Our program provides and delivers nutritious meals to approved recipients. To be eligible, the recipient must be homebound and without the ability to have adequate meals prepared.
Description
We deliver hot meals to homebound residents of Hendricks County that are unable to prepare meals on their own. This allows them to reside in their homes instead of relocating to assisted living/other care options.
