Diversity Recruitment Volunteer
American Red Cross: Michigan Region
The Red Cross of Southeast Michigan is looking for a volunteer to support local recruitment to our diverse communities in order to put together a volunteer force that is representative of the clients we serve. The volunteer will work with the Red Cross staff to help develop outreach strategies and a communications plan to reach our target audiences and meet defined goals. Preferred skills include:
- Network of diverse organizations and individuals
- Knowledge/understanding of local communities
- Good communication skills
- Desire to help diversify community serving organizations
Volunteer hours are flexible and training is provided. The role is currently completely virtual, with the opportunity for in-person activities if desired.
