Seeking dedicated, compassionate and caring volunteers aged 55+ to support hospice patients and their families in Pasco County as Vigil Volunteers and Bereavement Volunteers. As a Vigil Volunteer, you are there to ensure that no person dies alone. You must be comfortable with being on-call. Bereavement volunteers support families in the days following the loss of a loved one. Orientation and training are provided for these positions. Are you that warm-hearted individual looking for meaningful opportunities to serve your community? Please thoughtfully consider the special role of a Vigil or Bereavement volunteer.
