During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with The Riley Farm Rescue! Our volunteers play a very important role in our organization, and we rely on them more than ever to help us keep our rescued animals happy and healthy.
We currently hold volunteer days every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM, and weekdays in the afternoon (time varies based on daylight hours). All first-time volunteers must complete a weekend shift before signing up for a weekday shift. If you are unavailable on weekends, we can work with you to figure something out. Volunteer days are led by the farm's founder or by our more experienced volunteers, Team Leads (TLs), who also put the animals to bed during the week sometimes. Volunteer activities include raking, replacing hay and shavings, cleaning out and replacing water bins, cleaning out the guinea pig cages, food prep for the pigs, and other jobs as needed. This is an amazing opportunity to connect with our animals one-on-one and truly make a difference in their lives!
All applicants must be 18+, and should be committed to The Riley Farm Rescue’s mission and vision. Thank you!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

The Riley Farm Rescue's mission is to rescue suffering farm animals and provide them with the quality and loving home they deserve through rehabilitation and long-term care. The Riley Farm Rescue brings awareness to the neglect and cruelty farm animals experience through education, special events, and by living and promoting a vegan and cruelty free lifestyle.
The Riley Farm Rescue started by accident in 2015 when Founder/President Marla Riley bought some chickens as pets. She had never imagined that these chickens would change the course of her life. They Riley Farm Rescue became a registered 501(c)3 non-profit in 2017 while still in Marla's backyard. In August 2019, the sanctuary found a new home on a 26 acre property and is now home to over 180 rescued farmed animals. Volunteers, donors, sponsors and supporters have all played a major role in helping The Riley Farm Rescue grow into the sanctuary it is today. We take volunteers every day of the week and have a variety of volunteer positions such as the morning wake up routine, mucking stalls, bedtime routine, and remote volunteer positions as well. We look forward to hearing from you!
We'll work with your schedule.
