Position Overview:

  • We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing intern for Tiny Blessing’s Foundation to create, launch, and publish throughout our various social channels including YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. In this role, you will own the day-to-day management of Tiny Blessings’ daily social media presence. You’ll have the creative freedom to bring new ideas to the table to improve our social presence and bring more followers and activity to our social channels. You’ll develop a deep understanding of Tiny Blessings’ social channels and how our ideal customers engage with social content. To do this you’ll work closely with our Board of Directors and CEO.

    Core Areas of Responsibilities:

    Social Media Intern Job Responsibilities:

    • Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content.
    • Brainstorms campaign ideas.
    • Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Youtube.
    • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
    • Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
    • Knowledge of social media analytics software, such as Facebook Insights to track audience engagement and campaign performance
    • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
    • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
    • Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales.
    • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
    • Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
    • Assists in creating performance reports.

    Qualifications & Desired Skills:

    • Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising, journalism or graphic design
    • Social media marketing
    • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
    • Available to work at least 5-10 hours per week or more
    • Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software
