Are you looking to volunteer in a way that really makes an impact? The Alzheimer's Association, Greater Indiana Chapter, is looking for individuals, groups, organizations, and companies across the state to help us fundraise through one of our signature events, The Longest Day. We are looking for people who would like to host an event and support the fight to #ENDALZ. The Longest Day is an opportunity for people to come together through an activity of THEIR CHOICE to help us fight Alzheimer's disease by raising funds and awareness for care, support, and research for the Alzheimer's Association. Thousands of participants across the world will come together and stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer's on The Longest Day.
The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. Team up with the Alzheimer’s Association any day of the year by the summer solstice and turn your favorite activity into a fundraiser to help end Alzheimer’s. The day with the most light is the day we fight!
In Indiana alone, the funds raised by events like The Longest Day have provided 6,110 education and support groups services for those with Alzheimer's and/or their caregivers, provided eight (8) research awards to Indiana researchers valued at $2.7M and provided support to over 1,848 helpline calls. Seventy-Eight cents of every dollar you raise goes toward support, care, and research!

Go ahead and take the three minutes to register but choose UNDECIDED as your activity. We will provide an Engagement Volunteer that will help you find an activity. You can make almost any fundraiser virtual too! So, if you enjoy running, hiking, sewing, playing cards, gaming, DJing, cooking, biking.... the options are endless, sign-up today!
